On December 1, 2010: Rock legend John Oates of Hall & Oates, Eliot Lewis, Brian Dunne, Christine Tambakis, Ira Stone, Rob Aries, Jerry Vigorito and Rob Fried lead Band Together for a rock and soul concert to help CT Challenge build out their new cancer survivorship facility in Fairfield. CONCERT FOR HAITI Max and Ira were the opening artists at a Band Together benefit show for the people of Haiti on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Fairfield Theater Company in Fairfield, CT. One hundred percent of the proceeds, with the exception of the bar, are going to the Haiti Relief Fund through the Red Cross. Above is a photo from the event. On October 8, 2009, Ira played with a nine piece
all-star acoustic band at the Fairfield Theater Company in
Fairfield, CT. This was a Band Together benefit concert with proceeds going
to the Pequonnock River Cleanup project. The photos can be seen on the 2009-2010

Added to the site on September 24, 2009, is
a video of Ira and Max performing a previously unreleased Bert Sommer song that
Ira worked on with him back in the seventies. This performance is from The
Triad in NYC on September 10th. It can be viewed on the Upcoming
Shows & Soundclips page.
I am letting you know that Maxine and I (were) featured on the ABC National Network News program on Saturday, Aug. 15th,
2009 between 6:30 and 7:00 (Eastern)…..The film crew was at our house and filmed
for 2 hours---they will probably edit it down to just a few minutes! But it
was fun. The story is about Bert Sommer, who I played with at Woodstock.

WOODSTOCK
40th ANNIVERSARY: Rhino Records has released a 6-CD set
titled Woodstock 40 Years On; Back to Yasgur's Farm featuring 38 previously
unreleased tracks. Among these are 3 of the 10 songs that Ira
performed with Bert Sommer on August 15, 1969; "Jennifer," "And
